My family, a party of 5, including my newly wed wife, and my mother in law flying in from Vancouver, paid a visit to the brunch buffet of AquaTerra, at 1045AM, July 15, 2007. We expected to enjoy great food and scenery to around 115AM.

First, there was a dark grey worm, roughly 2mm long, found in the salad of my mother in law's plate. We notified the waitress. The waitress took it away, and there was no response at all afterwards. (Usually you would expect the manager showing up to at least say sorry. In most restaurant a discount or free meal follows.) We were waiting and waiting. No manager.

Later on, we were suddenly asked to LEAVE the restaurant by 1230PM.

The manager (don't know his name. He is quite tall and bulky) finally showed up to explain the situation. They have booked the area to another party who will come at 1230PM. When we asked why were we NOT informed when we arrived, that we had only 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish our buffet, the manager dodged the question.

We then told him that we might not be able to finish the meal by 1230PM. We offered to be relocated to another table, but we were REFUSED.

We then complained to the manager about the worm in salad we found earlier. He replied by saying it came with the bag. This is the worst response for worm in dish I have ever heard. Also, he did not offer any compensation for the worm. We then actually asked for a compensation and he shrugged -- didn't say anything.

This service attitude is the worst I have ever encountered in any restaurant of this level in Canada. I am very prompted to report this experience in every single online restaurant review that features Aqua Terra to stimulate their improvement for their own good.

We left without finishing our food.
